Tiana Morris is the queen of the financial world with her investment firm, monthly articles, and television appearances. When she comes home to find her husband in bed with a woman half his age, the events turn her world upside down and she swears off men and dating forever. But when the owner of a high-profile child care service makes a visit to her home, Tiana gets more than what she bargained for.
Kieran D'Amato has seen it all and been through it all the socialites who would rather be on TV than play with their children; the athletes who are busy traveling everywhere to care for their children; and the enormously powerful and wealthy who were just too busy for their children. So when he dropped by to see his newest client, Kieran might have to break a personal rule.
The Nanny is an erotic/sensual romance novel that explores the issues of wealth, keeping up appearances, and how public perception can interfere with personal happiness.

3.5The Nanny is a fun IR story featuring Kieran and Tiana. Tiana is a wealthy investment banker with her own firm and Kieran owns his own childcare center and is now the new nanny to Tiana's son. Tiana is going through a divorce after finding her husband in bed with the last nanny. The sparks fly when these two are on the scene. Kieran teaches her how to relax, be herself, have fun, make love without restrictions and let herself be loved. I swooned a few times when he teaches her how to give herself up to his teachings in the bedroom.
I like that Kieran treats Tiana's son as his own and not a "job".
The story-line was cute and I enjoyed role reversal with the nanny being the man. So my major problem with this story is the editing. This is a full length story and the story flows well for 90% of the book. 10% of the book had editing problems. As a result,it slowed the pace when these pesky things appeared as I had to go back and re-read the sentence. Also,
recognized this cover as I have it on a number of books, it is way over utilized (small thing).
This is the first book in the series of the D'Amato men. The storytelling was rich enough that I would read the next book in the series. Overall good story with great character development and strong secondary characters you can continue to root for in the series to come. I am looking forward to hearing more about these brothers.

The Nanny The D'Amato Brothers Book 1 edition by Vera Roberts Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Looking at the cover I assumed the nanny was the black female as I did not read the intro while scrolling through various books. Yet here we have a hot, sexy man who is not emasculated by having a traditional female job as you can find in so many books. The only problem I had with the story is her trying to make it work with Tyson' s biological father a know drug abuser and womanizer. Only an idiot couldn't see he would resort back to his "lovely" ways.
I enjoyed this book very much. I especially love the editor because they did their thing! I cannot tell you how annoying it is reading a poorly edited book. But I digress. I loved Kieren, he was different from the usual macho alpha man, but still take charge. I loved that Tiana was a self made woman. It's very refreshing for the woman to be the millionaire for once.
The only thing I didn't like (besides her parents) was the ending. Their conflict was resolved way to easily and then the story just sped up and ended. Not a fan of the rushed stuff. But I am a fan of this book.
Well done.
As the title of this review says, I struggled with this one. I couldn't really relate to the characters nor could I buy into the story enough to feel interested or invested in what happened with these characters. Literally, I started and stopped reading this book numerous times before I finally finished it...which is quite unlike me. I was drawn in by the male nanny, female millionaire executive aspect that kind of throws convention out the window, but in my opinion it was kind of superfically explored. The feelings between the characters took off too soon, and not with enough background behind it for me to buy it. Additionally, the lead characters seemed too naive and one dimesional to be believable in some aspects. While I will give the author kudos for trying a different dynamic, and the story wasn't all bad, it just needed some work in my opinion.
I’m not impressed and I didn’t like it. The love scenes were so raw I couldn’t content to the feelings they had for each other.
The characters traits were inconsistent.
The development of the characters were poor.
The use of some words just felt straight out of place.
The story line was contradicting.
I basically skimmed through most of the book at about 50% instead of actually reading it.
Let me state this book would have been a four without the twist 3/4 of the way through. Kieran and Tiana meet when Tiana a successful business woman hires him as her nanny. Yeah, he's a male nanny, which is odd and she accepted him in his job without question. That was strange, but Kieran was nice and great with her son. He's intelligent, educated, sexy and independent.
Tiana was recently divorced from her ex husband, Christopher and she needed help with her son because Christopher was an absentee father. When they were married Christopher cheated on Tiana, they had paternity scares, and she caught him in the act of cheating. On top of that he only really wanted money from her.
Kieran endears himself to Tiana and they start dating. He treats her nice and they both claim to fall in love. They frequently have hot passionate love sessions.
Then there is a cliff hanger, Christopher overdoses and asks Tiana to take him back and this fool agrees. She dumps Kieran, the best man she's ever dated for her no good, non supportive ex husband. Her thoughts were her son needed his father. The book doesn't show that he ever was a real father or a faithful husband, so it makes no sense that she go back to him! I was really liking the book up until this point. I was like, WTH, just happened!!!
Kieran moves away and then Tiana has an epiphany, Kieran was right for her and her son. Duh! And Kieran takes her back.
Pros
Best book by far grammar wise by this author.
The author has a gift for story telling.
Great story until the twist
Kieran is likable
Funny moments
As always hot love scenes
Different twist that the male was the nanny
Kieran's family was on point and funny
Characters seem like your average person
Cons
Didn't like Tiana after she dumped Kieran. I tuned out.
Kieran came off like a chump for taking this crazy, insecure woman back.
The twist ruined the book for me.
This by far is the best book grammar wise by this author.
